Even though it says guard for 2 turns on application it immediately will tick down on the turn it is cast so if you want to guard your teammates you will have to keep selecting guard dog to guard your teammates over multiple turns.

Guard Dog lets him guard an ally on top of granting him a high DODGE boost, which can result in potentially devastating attacks missing completely. His supportive skills are not to be ignored either. Bear in mind that the bleed ticks of those skills are not very strong, though.

His main attack, Hound's Rush, tears into anything marked and has more bonuses against Beasts, while Hound's Harry exchanges raw damage for the ability to inflict bleed to the entire enemy group.
